SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR HOMES BUILT PRIOR TO 1978

If your home was built before 1978, your house likely contains lead-based paint. Exposure to lead can be very harmful, particularly to children and even your pets. Special precautions must be taken to minimize this risk when re-painting your home’s exterior, as normal preparation procedures disturb the old paint. Furthermore, contractors working on lead-paint homes must be Lead-Safe Certified by the EPA or their state’s RRP (Renovation, Repair, and Painting) program. Admirable Construction Inc is a Lead-Safe certified (certification #R-1-41R036-23-00113) and has all of the necessary equipment and expertise to perform lead-safe work practices on your home.
